【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedtomeasureplutoniuminenvironmentalwatersorwatersreleasedtotheenvironmentandtodeterminewhetherornottheplutoniumconcentrationexceedsthemaximumamountallowablebyregulatorystatutes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofalpha-particle-emittingisotopesofplutoniumconcentrationsover0.01Bq/L(0.3pCi/L)inwaterbymeansofchemicalseparationsandalphapulse-heightanalysis(alpha-particlespectrometry).Duetooverlappingalpha-particleenergies,thismethodcannotdistinguish239Pufrom240Pu.Plutoniumischemicallyseparatedfroma1-Lwatersamplebycoprecipitationwithferrichydroxide,anionexchangeandelectrodeposition.Thetestmethodappliestosolubleplutoniumandtosuspendedparticulatemattercontainingplutonium.Inthelattersituation,anaciddissolutionstepisrequiredtoassurethatalloftheplutoniumdissolves.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsaregiveninSection9
