【摘要】:Ethylacrylateiscopolymerizedwithethylenetoproducefilm,molding,andwirecoatingresinswithimprovedphysicalproperties.Ethylacrylatecomonomerincreasesflexibility,stresscrackingresistance,toughness,andclarity.Arapidquantitativetechniqueisneededfortheevaluationoftheamountofethylacrylateinaresinforspecificationpurposesbecausephysicalpropertieschangerapidlywithincreasingcomonomercontent.Infraredspectrophotometricanalysis,whensuitablycalibrated,canbeusedforthemeasurementoftheconcentrationofcomonomerpresent.Calibrationisperformedwithsamplesthathavebeenanalyzedforoxygencontentbyfastneutronactivationanalysis.Oxygencontentisconvertedtoethylacrylatecomonomercontentbyasimplecalculation.Apurposeoftheinfraredmethodofanalysisistoprovideaprocedureforuseinqualitycontrolanalysis.Itisarapid,secondarymethodofanalysisascontrastedwiththemoreexpensiveandtime-consumingfastneutronactivationanalysiswhichistheprimary,calibratingmethod.1.1Thistestmethodcoversethylene-ethylacrylatecopolymerscontainingfrom1to25%ethylacrylatecomonomer.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.(SeeIEEE/ASTMSI-10.)Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
