【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifies,forropesofdifferentkinds,amethodofdeterminingeachofthefollowingcharacteristics:-lineardensity;-laylength;-braidedpitch;-elongation;-breakingforce.Thelineardensity,laylengthandbraidedpitcharemeasuredwiththeropeunderaspecifiedtensioncalledthereferencetension,asspecifiedinAnnexA.Theelongationcorrespondstothemeasuredincreaseinlengthoftheropewhenthetensiontowhichitissubjectedisincreasedfromaninitialvalue(referencetension)toavalueequalto50%oftheminimumspecifiedbreakingstrengthoftherope.Thebreakingforceisthemaximumforceregistered(orreached)duringabreakingtestonthetestpiece,carriedoutonatensiletestingmachinewithconstantrateoftraverseofthemovingelement.Thebreakingforcevaluesgiveninthetablesofropespecificationsareonlyvalidwhenthistypeoftestingmachineisused.Whenitisnotpossibletotestthewholesectionofrope,themethoddescribedinAnnexBmaybeused,subjecttoagreementbetweenthepartiesinvolved.ThisInternationalStandardalsoprovidesamethodformeasuringwaterrepellency,lubricationandfinishcontentandheatsettingtreatmentwhenrequestedbythecustomer.
