【摘要】:ThispartofISO11154establishestechnicalspecificationsforthemagneticfixingdevicesofroofloadcarriersandspecifiestheminimumsafetyrequirements,andtestmethods,forsuchdevices,thusofferingtheoccupantsofthosevehiclesonwhichthecarriersaremounted,aswellasotherroadusersandpedestrians,aminimumlevelofsafetywhenthedevicesareusedinaccordancewiththemanufacturer'sinstructions.ThispartofISO11154isapplicabletomagneticfixingdevicessuitableforcarryingadefinedloadandintendedformountingonorabovetheroofsofpassengercarsandlightcommercialvehicleshavingamaximumauthorizedtotalmass(CodeISO-M08),asdefinedinISO1176,ofupto3,5t.Itisnotapplicabletovacuum-fixeddevices—experiencewithandtestingofthosedevicesnotbeingabletoguaranteeaminimumsafetylevelforcarryinggoodsoneithervehiclerooforrear.TherequirementsofthispartofISO11154completetheprovisionsofDirectives79/488/EECand72/245/EECconcerningmagneticfixingdevices.
