【摘要】:MembraneSwitchkeysaresubjectedtorepeatedactuations,usuallybyahumanfinger.Theyarealsosubjectedtootherconditions(forexample,wiping,cleaning,rubbing)duringhandling,end-use,shipment,orstoragethatmaycauseabrasiondamage.Theresultmaybeasignificantremovalofthecoatings,textordecorativeinks.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoawiderangeofmaterials.Themaincriterionisthattheabrasionprocessproducesvisiblewearorbreakthroughinthesurfacebeingtested.Theamountofabrasiondamagetoasurfaceisdependentonnumerousvariables.Thistestmethodprovidesawayofcomparingrelativeabrasionresistanceofinksandcoatings.Innowaydotheresultsprovideacorrelationvalueofthenumberofhumanfingertouchesbeforecoatingfailure.Itonlyprovidesameanstocompareresultsoftestsperformedusingthesameequipment,abrasivematerialsandloadingconditions.Thetestmethodcanbeusedforqualitycontrolpurposes,asaresearchanddevelopmenttool,toevaluatematerialcombinationsforagivenapplication,orforthecomparisonofmaterialswithrelativelysimilarproperties.1.1Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedureforsubjectinginksorcoatingsonmembraneswitchestoanabrasivemediumataspecifiedforce.1.2Withincertainlimitations,asdescribedinthisdocument,thistestmethodisapplicableformaterialsincluding,butnotlimitedto:printedorcoatedpolyester,polycarbonate,andsiliconerubber.Thesamplescanbeeitherflatorcontoured.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
